1. AP Placement Per Plan Estimates Completed

Reusing existing and purchasing AP’s place 2 Unfi Pro AP’s in basement as described on plan. Reuse in wall AP’s for rear corner basement office (Phil), Pastor’s Office, Staff Office, Streaming Room & Upstairs Green Room. Cabling Required through Cardinl.co, via volunteers or 3rd party.

 2. Install 10Gb Fiber from Production MDF to Kids Room IDF Completed

Quote 1Gb & 10Gb fiber connections to lessen interference in the older building with many unknowns related to electrical paths. 10Gb allows us to increase speed between switches and give us further room to grow in the future. Additional SFP modules required for switches (2 required depending on fiber installed).

3. Switch Upgrades Completed

Replace small 8 port Unifi US-8-150W with Unifi USW-Pro-24 in the Kids IDF Rack. This will upgrade fiber capabilities by adding two SFP+ ports that will handle 10GB Fiber. This will be REQUIRED if we choose 10Gb connection to accomodate future growth and speed for backbone connection.

4. Eventual Expanded Wifi Deployment (High Density Areas)

Propose adding 2 (possibly 3 depending on usage) Unifi HD Pro Access Points in Auditorium and potentially 1 in lobby area. This will upgrade Wifi Coverage in dense area allowing for fuller capacity Guest Network while not hurting other wifi used for infastructure and staff. Cabling Required.

 5. Back-Up Internet Connection

Cardinal.Co recommends a secondary internet connection. This would provide a route to offload guest traffic and also provide failover in case of Comcast outage.  There is 50Mb AT&T U-Verse Available in the are, please allow us to pursue the pricing opportunity if this is of interest. Upload speed isn’t great but it’s a great backup without having to move to the cost of dedicated fiber.
